Bridget was cast as Daphne Tucker on FOX’s New Amsterdam. The episode, Season 1 Episode 5 titled “Keep the Change”, originally aired on March 24, 2008. Bridget’s character, Daphne Tucker, the wife of a city councilman is entangled in a homicide and the shows star, John Amsterdam, figures out what happened and gets her to confess.

Bridget was cast as Begonia Brown in Geneva, a play by George Bernard Shaw presented by Project Shaw on January 21, 2008. Bridget’s character, Begonia Brown, is the “pretty young secretary, left to run the International Committee for Peace office alone”.

The play is set in 1938, as an aristocratic German Jew who has fled Nazi Germany arrives in Geneva asking for help. Eventually, Hitler, Franco, and Mussolini all converge there for a peace trial.

The play ran for one night only.

Bridget Regan was cast as Cecile Leroux on Broadway’s Is He Dead?, an adaptation of Mark Twain’s play of the same name.

Is He Dead? is a play by Mark Twain. It was first published in print in 2003, after Mark Twain scholar Shelley Fisher Fishkin read the manuscript in the archives of the Mark Twain Papers at the University of California at Berkeley. … The play was long known to scholars but never attracted much attention until Fishkin arranged to have it published in book form. She later played a primary role in getting the play produced on Broadway.

Written in 1898 in Vienna, the play focuses on a fictional version of the great French painter Jean-Francois Millet as an impoverished artist in Barbizon, France who, with the help of his colleagues, stages his death in order to increase the value of his paintings. Combining elements of burlesque, farce, and social satire, the comedy relies on such devices as cross-dressing, mistaken identities, and romantic deceptions to tell its story, which raises questions about fame, greed, and the value of art. A detailed synopsis of Mark Twain’s original manuscript of the play–along with synopses of most of Mark Twain’s writings–can be found in Critical Companion to Mark Twain (2007) by R. Kent Rasmussen.

Adapted by David Ives, a former Guggenheim Foundation Fellow in playwriting, and directed by Michael Blakemore, Is He Dead? had its world premiere at the Lyceum Theatre. The Broadway production began previews on November 8 and was set to open on November 29, 2007, but due to the 2007 Broadway stagehand strike, it was postponed to December 9, 2007.

It received favorable reviews in the New York Times and Variety, but closed on March 9, 2008, after 105 performances.

Bridget Regan was cast as Tina Tuchman in The Babysitters, originally released on September 11, 2007 in Canada and May 9, 2008 the United States.

From Wikipedia: The Babysitters is a 2007 independent film directed by David Ross. It stars John Leguizamo, Cynthia Nixon and Katherine Waterston. The story follows a teenager who turns her babysitting service into a call girl service for married men after fooling around with one of her customers.

Bridget’s appearance is brief, approximately twenty seconds towards the first of the movie at about the six minute mark.

Bridget Regan was cast in NBC’s The Black Donnellys as Trish Hughes, a city councilman’s Chief of Staff. There is some confusion as to when the original episode was first released as the show was canceled before this episode was set to air. NBC released the unaired episodes on their website and included them on the DVD set for season one. This episode, number seven, named In Each one a Savior, was first released on April 9, 2007.

Bridget’s character, Trish Hughes, works as the Chief of Staff for an Irish city councilman who makes shady deals with the bad guys, namely “Dokey”. Bridget is only on screen for maybe 10 or 12 seconds in this episode but they’re setting her up to have more screen time in the next few episodes.

Bridget Regan made another appearance on the TV series Law and Order Criminal Intent as ADA Claudia Shankly in episode eighteen of season six. Bridget was on-screen for about two and a half minutes in this episode, named Silencer.

Bridget plays an Assistant District Attorney whos fiance, a doctor, has been murdered. She’s frantic to charge somebody with the murder and ends up crossing a line with the detectives by threatening them.

Bridget Regan was cast to play Holly Sturgess, the “sexy overachiever”, in 20th Century Fox Television’s Supreme Courtships. Bridget was added to the pilot cast in February of 2007. The pilot was ordered by Fox and then dropped without the pilot ever being aired.

Bridget Regan (“The Babysitters”) is the latest addition to the drama pilot, about the lives of six Supreme Court clerks and the judges they work for. She’ll play Holly, a hardworking clerk who is not ashamed of her alpha-girl personality.

Bridget Regan was cast in the TV series Law and Order Criminal Intent as ADA Claudia Shankly in two episodes of season 6. Bridget was on-screen for just over a minute in three sections of the first episode, number six, named Masquerade. As an ADA, Bridget works with the detectives to ensure that she has enough evidence to get a conviction.

The Assistant District Attorney (ADA), or Prosecutor, is the local public official who represents the government in the prosecution of alleged criminals. The prosecution is the legal party responsible for presenting the case against an individual suspected of breaking the law in a criminal trial.

Her character is professional and serious and Bridget plays the part well. Also, her straight hair in this episode suites her well.

Bridget Regan – Blinders

Bridget Regan is credited on the Internet Movie Database as being cast as Vivian in Blinders, a short, 10 minute film written and directed by Sven Kamm and shown at film festivals in New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, London and others. The film was originally released October 16, 2006.

The problem is that I cannot, for the life of me, be certain that she is in the film. At no point in the film is her face shown. The only portion of the film that I can make the connection is at six minutes and fifty-eight seconds into the film where there is a girl walking away from the camera so only her back is shown. It looks like she has red hair although she doesn’t look as tall as Bridget so I can’t say for sure that this is her. Also, Bridget is not named in the credits at the end of the film and the only site on the internet that I can find that mentions this Vivian character in the film is on the IMDB site, which isn’t the most credible source.

Bridget Regan was cast in the TV pilot of CBS’s Love Monkey. Bridget played a women who Tom, the leading actor played by Tom Cavanagh, meets at a bar after breaking up with his girlfriend of five months. Most of the camera angles in this portion of the episode show the back of Bridget’s head, but she does have a few lines.

The pilot originally aired on January 17, 2006. Love Monkey was dropped by CBS after several episodes and eventually picked up by VH1.
